The clinical team, comprising the medical provider, clinical psychologist, and psychiatrist, collaborates to formulate a treatment plan based on the diagnosis, addressing mental health and medical aspects.

The Lakes Treatment Center recently worked with a client who initially presented in a state of psychosis. The patient believed that they were a rapper and faced legal issues due to non-compliance with medication. Under residential treatment for nine months, the person received monthly injectable antipsychotics, stabilizing their mental health. The continuous care and close monitoring allowed them to return to their baseline, restoring their mental well-being to pre-crisis levels. Even four years post-treatment, the individual maintained significant success, highlighting the effectiveness of extended residential support and personalized care.
Individuals attending the program are not simply engaging in a 30-day detox or substance cessation. The focus lies in delving into the layers of their experiences and unraveling the root causes behind substance misuse. Emphasizing a strong mental health component, the program aims to identify and address core issues through intensive therapy sessions.
