Where Great Practices Go to Grow

Growth inside a healthcare practice depends on how well its existing people and systems are aligned. More than complex solutions or expensive upgrades, practices need clarity, structure, and the ability to use what already exists with greater efficiency. Streamlined operations, when supported by the right systems, unlock more value from every patient interaction while reducing effort across the team. Whether a practice is just starting out or already performing well, improvement comes from better orientation—not reinvention.

The Scheduling Institute provides healthcare practices with the structure and support needed to operate at a higher level. Through on-site training, implementation systems, and built-in accountability, it helps teams elevate performance, simplify day-to-day operations, and deliver better patient experiences—using the people and resources already in place. Over the years, it has worked alongside thousands of practices to unlock growth through patient-centered strategies, better systems, and measurable results.

The Scheduling Institute believes most practices already hold the potential to grow; what they lack is a way to use that potential consistently. A common breakdown occurs at the very first step—a phone call from a prospective patient. These moments often lack structure, leading to missed opportunities and preventable losses.

To address this, the Scheduling Institute begins with the 5-Star Challenge. This tool evaluates how a practice handles incoming patient calls. Results often expose critical gaps in how teams answer, ask questions, or guide conversations toward booked appointments. When those issues become clear, the company deploys trainers to client offices. These one- to two-day sessions help staff develop reliable systems across the entire patient journey. From phone skills and front-desk interactions to treatment introductions and clinical handoffs, every step receives structured attention. The Scheduling Institute has conducted over 35,000 in-office trainings—each one tailored to deliver measurable results.
  • Training without accountability is just expensive entertainment

Training alone is not enough. The company places high importance on follow-up and accountability. Trainers and advisors return to monitor outcomes, reinforce systems, and make adjustments.

“Training without accountability is just expensive entertainment,” says Flint Geier, President of Scheduling Institute.

Most healthcare professionals spend years building clinical expertise, but very few learn how to lead a team, manage operations, or grow a business. The Scheduling Institute fills that gap. Its training programs equip doctors and their teams to drive measurable growth through new patient acquisition, stronger patient retention, increased referrals, and higher case acceptance. Each program is structured to improve performance in the key areas that directly impact practice revenue and long-term value.

Many clients begin without realizing what they are missing. One practice based in the Tampa Bay area joined the program in 2021. Within 90 days, new patient numbers doubled. Revenue followed. Collections increased soon after, and the team continued through additional training. Over the next four years, the practice tripled in size. The doctors later joined advanced coaching to support their next phase of growth.

A study conducted in 2024 measured the average impact across new clients. On average, practices saw a 32 percent increase in new patients. That translated to 18 additional patients per month. At a conservative value of $2,500 per patient, this increase often resulted in an added $45,000 per month.

The Scheduling Institute now introduces a new division—the Practice Growth Institute. While its original model will continue to provide foundational training, this new branch focuses on helping doctors scale their net worth and long-term success through advanced coaching. The company will also expand into a wider range of healthcare fields. Any provider who books appointments over the phone and wants to improve patient outcomes can benefit from what the Scheduling Institute delivers.
