[Overland Park, Kan.] – Surgical Solutions, a vendor-neutral perioperative managed services company, has launched a new Consulting Services built for hospital and ASC leaders who need expert guidance on a specific initiative without committing to a full onsite engagement.
The service gives hospitals and ASCs targeted, vendor-neutral expertise for a defined project, from selecting new technology to preparing for a survey or building a leadership development plan. Unlike Surgical Solutions' other engagement models, Consulting projects are scoped to a specific need rather than an embedded onsite footprint.

"Every hospital we work with is under pressure to do more with less, and that pressure does not always come with the runway for a long engagement," said Kirk Leonardelli, CEO of Surgical Solutions. "Consulting gives healthcare facilities a way to get expert, vendor-neutral guidance built to address the problems they are facing."
Hospital and ASC leaders often already know where a problem lives. What they lack is the bandwidth to focus on it, or an outside partner who has done the work firsthand. Surgical Solutions built this offering to close the gap, bringing clinicians and operators who have run ORs, managed reprocessing workflows, and solved the same breakdowns hospitals call about.
Each engagement begins with an onsite assessment to evaluate workflow, labor, compliance posture and the relationship between departments dependent on one another to function. From there, the team delivers a prioritized roadmap ranked by urgency and impact, not a report destined for a shelf.
Facilities needing more sustained support later have options to continue working together. A portion of the initial consulting investment converts toward a longer-term engagement, so no hospital or ASC pays twice to solve the same problem.
"Hospitals and ASCs rarely have the luxury of a slow fix. A late first case, a compliance finding, or a labor gap in sterile processing does not wait for a quarterly planning cycle," said Elizabeth "Betty" Casey, MSN, RN, CNOR, CRCST, CHL, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Surgical Solutions. "This offering puts experienced hands on the floor quickly, with a clear plan the department can act on right away, and our support the entire time."
Surgical Solutions is vendor-neutral, meaning the team has no product or platform to sell. Recommendations are based on what a department needs, not a vendor’s agenda. The company also stands apart by covering sterile processing, endoscopy and the OR, rather than specializing in one side of the perioperative relationship, a common limitation in this space.
