Loneliness is a major contributor to depression, which is a big contributor to addiction. Loneliness and social rejection have been demonstrated in studies to register in the brain in much the same manner as physical pain does.


FREMONT, CA: Addiction rates are fast increasing all around the world, prompting many individuals to speculate as to why this is the case. People becoming addicted to certain substances or habits might have a variety of causes.


Overcoming addiction is critical, regardless of whether the addiction is to a legal or normalized substance or activity.
