After the medical visit, the customer can text “return” to request a ride. When Agape’s electronic system receives the message, it verifies the sender’s contact number and automatically activates the ride by assigning a driver. The customer is given all the required information, such as the driver’s contact number, car details, and the driver’s GPS location. Agape goes above and beyond to add extra value to its services. For example, NEMT drivers are obligated by state regulations not to stop anywhere during a ride. However, many customers want to visit a pharmacy on the way home to pick up prescriptions. Agape has expanded its service offerings to prescription deliveries from local pharmacies to the same patients it transports through PacKEtek, a logistics courier company that specializes in prescription delivery. It provides same-day, next-day, and rush deliveries free of charge to the patients.
